The Inspired Unemployed’s ‘The List’ hits Network 10 and Paramount+

Ready for a pit stop around the globe?

Starting Thursday, 1 May, The List, a new six-part comedy-adventure series from The Inspired Unemployed’s Jack Steele and Matt ‘Falcon’ Ford, premieres on Network 10 and Paramount+ Australia.

Known for their viral content and chart-topping podcast, the duo now takes their unique brand of humour global in a show that blends travel, chaos, and comedy.

The twist: it’s not their list

Set across six countries, Germany, Japan, India, Finland, South Africa and Malaysia, The List sees Jack and Falcon chase down epic, unexpected challenges.

But the twist?

The dream bucket list they thought they’d be ticking off has been hijacked. Instead of curated wish-list moments, they’re handed bizarre, gruelling and downright awkward missions.

Think fire stunts, public slaps and more uncomfortable antics, all served with their signature deadpan delivery.

Not exactly the bucket list trip they were expecting.

From podcasting to the silver screen

The pair’s foray into television comes after Spotify decided to dump their The Inspired Unemployed podcast, choosing not to renew the show for a fourth season.

The decision bringing an end to their exclusive deal with the platform, reportedly worth $700,000 when the show launched in 2021.

The move also follows a recent controversy involving a prank gone wrong at a feminist event in Sydney, which sparked public backlash and stirred debate around the group’s comedic boundaries.
