The Hit Network is introducing its new weeknight late show, The Pulse with Seany B & Emma G, hosted by Sean Brown and Emma Georgiadis.
From 10pm tonight, The Pulse with Seany B & Emma G will bring audiences music, artist interviews, live performances and pop culture content from around the world and an exclusive DJ Konsky mash up from midnight.
Brown’s career began in Tasmania, with Hobart’s Hit100.9, before a stint on Newcastle’s Hot106.9 and national Nights on the Hit Network during winter and summer breaks.
He also has extensive music credentials, having auditioned for the 2017 season of The Voice and turned the chair of Delta Goodrem and then performed live on stage with Delta at her Newcastle concert in 2022. Brown has also interviewed some of music’s biggest names including Rob Thomas, Craig David, Jojo, Julia Michaels and Amy Shark.
Georgiadis has worked in the entertainment and media industry for more than 15 years after coming from a teaching background. She has since amassed an impressive radio resume, having been behind the microphone on Triple M, the Hit Network and Nova.
Amanda Lee, head of Hit Metro Content and 101.9 The Fox content director, said: “We know our listeners and Australia love their music and all things celebrity so, we have delivered with something really special for Late Nights!”
Brown said: “Pinch me? The Hit Network have put this kid from Tassie on a national radio show to play the hottest hits and talk about the most interesting celeb news, I must be bloody dreaming!
“As two fellow radio nerds – and Hot 30 fans – Em and I can’t wait to show Australia what we have planned!”
Georgiadis said: “After nine years on-air, I’m so excited to step into a co-host role and bring Late Nights to life with Sean. We can’t wait to spread the zest across Australia!”
Listen to The Pulse with Seany B & Emma G weeknights from 10pm-1am across the Hit Network and on LiSTNR.
