TEG has promoted Ticketek managing director, Cameron Hoy, to chief operating officer and head of global ticketing as the company continues to expand globally.
Hoy will be responsible for oversight of numerous divisions across the business, including the company’s data science, analytics and digital divisions, product and technology, in addition to leading TEG’s Global Ticketing operations.
TEG is yet to confirm Hoy’s replacement.
Geoff Jones, TEG Group chief executive, said the role was reflective of the company’s increasingly global footprint which spans ticketing, digital and data solutions across the globe.
Hoy said, “With digital innovation and technology moving faster today than it ever has before, there’s ample opportunities for expansion and growth across the many facets of the TEG business – both locally and globally. I am delighted to be taking on this new role at such an exciting time of growth for TEG as we build TEG into a truly global organisation,” he said.
Earlier this year, the business farewelled industry veteran Brendon Bainbridge after nearly 17 years in the business – 11 years as the managing director of Ticketek New Zealand and six years as the managing director of TEG Asia.
Timothy Ho stepping into the role of managing director, Asia, bringing with him over 15 years’ experience in live entertainment and ticketing prior to joining the company.
