Tapt Media has partnered with Olympic champion sisters Cate and Bronte Campbell to produce, commercialise and publish their weekly podcast, Campbells & Co.

Under the partnership, Tapt Media will handle the podcast’s production, publishing, and commercialisation as the company expands its sports audio offering.

Campbells & Co. focuses on elite performance beyond competition, with the sisters exploring mindset, identity, mental fatigue and life after professional sport.

The podcast also features interviews with Australian Olympians, Paralympians and health experts, examining the pressures and preparation involved in competing at an elite level.

Campbell sisters take listeners behind the scenes

Co-host Cate Campbell said the podcast was designed to give listeners greater insight into the lives of elite athletes.

“This podcast is demystifying the world of elite sport. It's about getting to know our greatest and emerging Olympic and Paralympic heroes. How do they train for hours on end for an opportunity that only comes around once every four years? What motivates them, and what is really going through their heads at the starting line? Plus, it's a brilliant excuse to sit down and catch up with my sister every week.”

Bronte Campbell said the show also provides an athlete’s perspective on major sporting events and the stories behind them.

“We’re uncovering the stories, mindsets, and personal challenges behind the big sporting moments – looking at current events directly through an athlete's lens. We want to pull back the curtain and give listeners real behind-the-scenes access to this weird and wonderful sporting world.”

Tapt Media expands sports audio offering

Tapt Media head of podcasts Del Fordham said the sisters’ experience and chemistry gave the podcast a distinct position within sports audio.

“We jumped at the chance to collaborate with Cate and Bronte. Between their deep knowledge of elite sport, their focus on health and well-being, and their natural sisterly dynamic, Campbells & Co. brings a rare depth to the sports audio landscape.”

The podcast has previously been used by Bronte to announce her retirement from elite swimming and has featured Olympic canoeing sisters Jess and Noémie Fox discussing family and competition.

The show has also produced daily reaction episodes around the Commonwealth Games and featured interviews with athletes including world record holder Lani Pallister.
