After the back and forth between KIIS FM and 2GB throughout the first half of the year, the Nine talk station has held the top spot for the fourth survey in a row. The station has lifted 1.3 points – beaten out only by smoothfm for the biggest lifter of the survey – bringing 2GB to a share of 12.4%.
The Breakfast battle between KIIS FM and Ben Fordham has seen Fordham keeping his spot in second by the thinnest of margins, recording a share of 16.2% to Kyle and Jackie O’s 16.3%. All dayparts were up for 2GB this survey, with the biggest lift coming from Fordham, up 2%.
In her second last survey before heading to Money News, Deb Knight in Afternoons recorded a share of 7.1%, up 1.1 points.

Staying solid as #1FM instead of #1 overall, ARN’s KIIS has lifted 0.6 points for an 11.5% share. KIIS has stayed steady with the title of top cume of 1,339,000 – up 15,000.
In breakfast, Kyle and Jackie O take the crown once again, up 1.6 points for a 16.3% share – squeaking into the top show in the daypart by 0.1 points.
Kyle Sandilands took to the official Kyle and Jackie O Instagram account to thank his staff and loyal listeners for getting them to number one again.
Sandilands said: “Once again, to our own staff, I’ve got to thank you all. We’ve retained the number one overall position as the largest, greatest, most listened to radio show in the history of Australian radio. Also, the biggest radio station in the country, well done to the whole team…!
In Drive, Will and Woody are down a point, slipping to second the daypart with 10.8.
KIIS FM remains the top station in the 10-17, 18-24, 25-39, and 40-54 demographics.

Nova’s smoothfm remains #3 in the market after lifting 1.6 points – making the station the biggest lifter of the survey.
In breakfast, Bogart Torelli and Ron Wilson were up 0.9 points for an 8.1% share, the show’s highest share of 2023. Drive has lifted 2 points to bring in a share of 11%, making it the top overall show in the daypart.

WSFM remains the #4 station in Sydney, up 0.1 points for a share of 8.6%. In breakfast, Jonesy and Amanda have largely stayed steady, dipping 0.1 points, producing a share of 8.4% as they remain the #3 commercial program in the daypart.

Nova remains at #5 after gaining 0.6 points. The breakfast lineup of Fitzy and Wippa with Kate Ritchie was down 0.2 points for a 7.1% share, while the Drive lineup of Ricki-Lee, Tim and Joel was up 0.5 points for an 8.9% share.

Having leapfrogged over 2Day FM in survey five, Triple M has kept its position despite a dip of 0.7 points.
In breakfast, Mick Molloy and Mark ‘MG’ Geyer are sitting at 4.6% after dipping 0.9 points. Drive was up 0.4 points.
