The Repco Supercars Championship is back a thrilling 2022 season with the weekend’s Beaurepaires Sydney SuperNight, live and free on Seven, 7mate and 7plus.

Leading the live coverage each day will be sports broadcaster Mark Beretta and former Supercars driver Jack Perkins who will broadcast from Sydney Motorsport Park from 4.30pm AEDT this Saturday, 5 March, on 7mate, before a 12.00pm AEDT start time on Sunday, 6 March, on Channel 7.

Also taking part in the coverage is Jess Yates, Neil Crompton and Mark Skaife will also be part of the coverage, along with fan favourite Mark Larkham in pit lane, along with Riana Crehan.

Fans will also be able to watch every race live and free and 7plus.

The 7plus app will also give fans access to behind the scenes of a race day with replays and highlights from key races, as well as bonus Supercars content, interviews with drivers, exclusive documentaries and behind the scenes vision.

Seven’s world-class coverage will continue uninterrupted during commercial breaks, through cutting edge picture-in-picture (PiP) technology introduced during the 2021 season.

Seven Melbourne’s managing director and head of network sport, Lewis Martin, said: “It’s great to have Supercars back on Seven this weekend to mark the beginning of a highly anticipated 2022 season.

“We are thrilled to once again broadcast the intensity, chaos and sheer passion shown on the Supercars circuit, straight into the homes of Australians. With world-class coverage led by Mark Beretta and Jack Perkins, the 2022 Supercars season will be unmissable.

“This weekend, motorsport fans can once again immerse themselves in the race without missing a second of the action, thanks to the use of PiP technology. The introduction of PiP technology has been embraced by motorsport fans since its arrival last year and is just another reason why Seven is Your Home of Motorsport.”

Shane van Gisbergen is looking to continue his impressive form to retain his 2021 title when he hits the track at Sydney Motorsport Park on Saturday night. Saturday marks the first time the venue has hosted the first round of the season since 1999.
