Nine has once again won the night with a primary share of 26.9% and a network share of 36.8%.

9Gem has won multi-channels with a 4.3% share.

Seven received a primary share of 18.0% and a network share of 29.2%.

10 took a 6.7% primary share and a network share of 11.7%.

664,000 watched Session One, Day Three of Nine’s Australian Open (Night) while 441,000 tuned in to Session Two.

405,000 also saw the Pre-Match.

Ajla Tomljanovic (AUS) took on Petra Martic (CRO) with Tomljanovic winning the match 7-6, 4-6, 6-4. Meanwhile, Carlos Alcaraz (ESP) beat Richard Gasquet (FRA). 

Seven

425,000 began their evening with Seven’s Home and Away where Tane confided in Cash and Alf was conflicted.

268,000 stayed on for the Big Bash. The Scorchers challenged the Sixers at Optus Stadium. The Sixers won by 3 wickets (0 balls left), finishing 201/7 (20) to 197/4 (20).

ABC

408,000 watched ABC’s 7.30 as the program looked at the attacks on shipping in the Red Sea that have effectively closed one of the world’s most important seaways. Plus Republicans in Iowa have chosen Donald Trump as their presidential nominee.

318,000 then watched Back Roads. Guest presenter Amanda Shalala discovered a heartwarming community welcoming newcomers in Naracoorte, SA.

231,000 also saw McCartney 3, 2, 1.

On 10, viewers tuned in to The Project (199,000 7.00 pm) as the panel put the spotlight on the 75th Annual Primetime Emmys. The program also put the spotlight on how stealing of livestock by sheep and cattle rustlers is a crime more common than you’d think, and now farmers are fighting back against the act that’s costing them millions every year.

Gladiators then followed with four fresh-faced firefighters Chris, Alex, Caitlin and Taylah taking on the Gladiators. Only two made it through the inferno and into the quarter-finals. 196,000 tuned in. 

A repeat of NCIS then reached 119,000.

SBS

Over on SBS, 117,000 tuned in to watch Who Do You Think You Are? Australia – Barry Humphries. The late comedian Barry Humphries journeyed back to 18th-century England to discover how a royal scandal intersected with his ancestor, a humble, rural grocer. 

Then, Michael Palin in North Korea reached 112,000.
