Australia and Seven in complete control after super Sunday, huge weekend

Having the rights to domestic Test Cricket has again paid off big time for both Seven and Fox Cricket after what could be called a TV ratings Super Sunday.

The Sunday night primetime combined cricket audience was over 1.5m for four hours.

The Australian cricket team worked over England pushing them close to defeat. It got pretty ugly late in the evening too with first Joe Root going down to a nasty Starc delivery and then soon after edging a catch to the keeper.

Seven has been delivery pain to its competitors too, although not quite as severely or with the accuracy of the Australian pace attack.

Summary of the cricket appears below.

The best of the rest on Sunday night included:
Seven: News 878,000
Nine: News 714,000, 60 Minutes – Summer 284,000
ABC: News 490,000, Death in Paradise 305,000
