In a landmark first, Stan Sport will this week debut 4K Ultra HD live and on-demand streaming for the entirety of the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League Finals series.
Any Stan account can access the 4K Ultra HD matches, provided they have the Stan Sport add-on, and a supported 4K-capable device.
Stan’s director of sport Ben Kimber said: “The addition of 4K Ultra HD streaming means Australia’s best sports streaming service just got even better. We are proud to be leading the way as the first streaming service in Australia to offer live 4K sport, and providing the best way for football fans to watch the game they love.”
Feature Match: Manchester City V Atlético Madrid
Wednesday 6 April from 4:35am AEST
Pep Guardiola v Diego Simeone. It has the feel like a heavyweight meeting that has thrown up several classic bouts but, surprisingly, their paths have crossed only three times to date. Man City have been pretty much unstoppable over the past six months but if you needed a candidate to halt their charge then Atlético, the ultimate upsetters, would be high up the list.
Feature Match: Chelsea V Real Madrid
Thursday 7 April From 4:35am AEST
Chelsea will hope lightning strikes twice as the Blues host Madrid in the quarter-finals: last season the sides met in the semi-finals, a 2-0 home win at Stamford Bridge sealing a 3-1 aggregate success. And the rest, as they say, is history.
Feature Match: West Ham V Lyon
Friday 8 April From 4:35am AEST
Having eliminated final hosts Sevilla in the last round, West Ham are feeling positive, and will hope to make home advantage count, having conceded only once at the London Stadium in this season’s UEFA Europa League. Lyon have yet to win in three previous games in London, but are on a run of five straight away victories in UEFA competition.
Stan Sport is the only place to watch every match of the UEFA Champions League, UEFA Europa League and UEFA Europa Conference League.
Stan’s add-on sport package is available for $10 a month and new customers can start their free trial now by visiting Stan.com.au/football.
