Stan has announced its brand new Stan original documentary series Show Me The Money is now streaming — with all three episodes available at once. Show Me The Money highlights Stan’s growing investment in locally produced original content and is the first of many sports documentary series to come.
Show Me The Money is a three-part sports documentary series that reveals the most fascinating flashpoint in the AFL – the behind the scenes wheeling and dealing of the game’s multi-million dollar superstars during the league’s blockbuster Trade Period and the collection of colourful characters that shape it: The Player Agents.
From JAM TV Australia, the team behind the Making Their Mark series, Show Me The Money will follow the affairs of the AFL’s most powerful agents as they negotiate on behalf of the game’s best players from some of the biggest clubs in the AFL. The series also follows the fortune of some of Australia’s best youngsters as clubs hope to recruit a future superstar in the AFL Draft.
Never before have clubs, players and agents agreed to lift the veil on this aspect of the game. For the first time, fans will have a front-row seat to the dramatic and sensational action, watching contract negotiations unfold for the AFL’s multi-million dollar stars. The storylines are raw, real, and wrapped in the emotional and financial tug-of-war between powerful player agents and club managers.
The series will feature four of the AFL’s most prominent player agencies: Connors Sports Management, Hemisphere Management Group, Players Ink, and Corporate Sports Australia.
Starring some of the AFL’s most ruthless and well-respected agents, including Paul Connors, Alex McDonald, Ben Williams, and Colin Young, there is a ton of drama in the high stakes world of player agents and club managers.
