The 2021 NRL season might have just finished, but Sports Entertainment Network has announced that sports broadcaster Matt White will head up the SEN League call team in 2022.
Fresh off the Tokyo 2020 Olympic coverage for SEN and Paralympic coverage for Seven, SEN League will feature White from the start of the 2022 season.
White has over 30 years’ experience broadcasting major events across the globe is heard regularly across the SEN airwaves as host of Mornings with Matt White on SEN 1170. In 2022 White will continue his regular morning show 9am-12pm Monday to Wednesday in conjunction with his new SEN League commitments.
“After calling NRL games in 2021 alongside the likes of Scott Sattler and Brett Kimmorley, I’m excited to be leading the team every week on SEN League in 2022,” White said.
SEN League covers four NRL matches every regular round of the season, all three State of Origin games, and every match of the finals.
The SEN League broadcast can be heard in Sydney on SEN 1170, through SEN Gold Coast 1620 and via the SEN App.
The SEN NRL broadcast also features NRL figures Scott Sattler, Brett Finch, Brett Kimmorley, Gary Belcher, Mark Carroll, Tim Mannah, Joel Caine, Jimmy Smith and more.
SEN content manager Jeremy Markham said the addition to the SEN League commentary team reflects the network’s mission to feature the best talent.
“We’re really excited to have a broadcaster of his quality in the stable every week of the season.
“His appointment once again proves our commitment to having the big names covering the big games.”
