Strategic communication firm Six O’Clock Advisory has appointed Jessica Evans as senior advisor following a period of new client wins and growth across the firm.
Evans, a former journalist, has more than 12 years of experience across a range of sectors, including government, health and education. She joins Six O’Clock from Charles Darwin University, where she was media and communication manager.

Evans will bolster Six O’Clock’s consulting capabilities, working with a portfolio of clients across the aged care, education, healthcare and not-for-profit sectors, among others.
The appointment follows a period of continued growth for Six O’Clock, through the expansion of existing briefs and the addition of a broad range of clients, including, Australian Red Cross; Aged Care Workforce Industry Council; The domestic arm of international payments provider, ANZ Worldline Payment Solutions; Digital home buying concierge service Home-In; and The Australian operations of global lighting solutions company Signify.
Six O’Clock has also been engaged to deliver strategic communication programs for large-scale conferences and events including SportNXT 2023, Accountex Australia, and Rotary International’s Rotary Convention 2023, to be held in Melbourne.
Six O’Clock director Patrick O’Beirne said, “We’ve entered our eighth year as a firm stronger than ever, having continued to attract and retain genuine blue-chip clients and a talented team of people.
“We welcome Jess to the Six O’Clock fold and we’re in-market to keep building the team, including for senior and entry-level roles, to keep delivering work that our clients value, and opportunities for our people to grow and prosper as some of the industry’s best professionals.”
