Seven West Media has announced the promotion of Brent Stewart to the role of chief sales officer in Western Australia, effective immediately.
Maryna Fewster, SWM WA CEO, expressed her confidence in the appointment and the direction of the advertising team. She said: “Brent has been an integral part of our business for over 13 years and has consistently demonstrated outstanding leadership and a proven track record of success.
“His dedication and commitment to our company’s performance and culture has made him an obvious choice to take on this opportunity.
“Brent steps into this role as we farewell Nathan Cave and thank him for his valued contribution to the business,” Fewster added.
Stewart has held a variety of roles across the sales team and most recently, joining the SWM WA executive team in 2021 as general manager, digital transformation.
Stewart said of his appointment: “I’m so excited to be returning to the advertising team and getting the opportunity to lead such a dynamic group. The future of our platforms and audience strategy remain incredibly strong and I can’t wait to get into market to connect with our customers.”
Stewart’s appointment comes after Seven West Media welcomed the appointment of Lucinda Gemmell as chief people and culture officer, reporting to managing director and chief executive officer James Warburton.

“It is a privilege to continue to build on this legacy, working with the executive team, the people and culture team and all of the fantastic team at Seven.”
