Kochie’s Pinstripe Media announces new travel show, Passport, to air on Seven

Passport

The show is a co-production between Pinstripe Media and Executive Traveller

Seven has announced Passport, a new show that is a travel companion for travellers who are eager for informative content on unique experiences and also provides a fresh twist on familiar destinations. Passport will be screened across the Seven network and streaming.

A co-production between Pinstripe Media and Executive Traveller, with Network Seven as its exclusive broadcast partner, Passport will chart the world of premium travel, exploring coveted destinations and providing tips for travellers.

Founded by David and Libby Koch, Pinstripe Media has been creating programs for Network Seven and other broadcast partners for over ten years – including Kochie’s Business Builders, The Airport Economist and The Dream Academy – and will coordinate all elements of the production and delivery of Passport.

Each half-hour episode of Passport will transport viewers to domestic and international destinations and present unique experiences including dining, entertainment and shopping; showcase the best in premium travel on airlines, railways and ocean and river cruises; and offer practical advice for making travel even better and more enjoyable.

The series will be hosted by a team of well-known Australian presenters that are currently being assembled and will be announced soon.

Passport will be screened Australia-wide on Channel 7, 7TWO and 7Flix, and streamed on 7Plus, launching with an initial ‘mini-season’ of eight weekly episodes broadcast in the third quarter of this year.

Passport will also come to life online at Executive Traveller, Australia’s largest website for premium travellers and frequent flyers, where a ‘digital hub’ will carry full episodes, individual segments and additional editorial content that can be streamed on demand.

“We’ve been big fans of Executive Traveller and their content for a long time, so having the opportunity to bring it to life in a TV format was not something we had to think twice about”, says AJ Koch, managing director at Pinstripe Media.

“We love making great broadcast and digital programming, and their knowledge of premium travel is unmatched, so it’s a great fit for us as well as being a great fit for brand partners in this space”.

Executive Traveller publisher Sid Raja says “We’re incredibly excited to partner with Pinstripe Media on Passport.”

“This is the TV show that globetrotting Australians have been waiting for – a show that’s smart, stylish and made with the sophisticated traveller in mind – and Pinstripe Media is the ideal partner for a collaboration that’s all about high-quality authentic storytelling.”
