Channel Seven is the new home of the Oscars with the 92nd Academy Award set to air live, free and exclusive on Monday February 10.

Coverage of film’s most prestigious awards event will start with Sunrise, now the only Australian breakfast TV show allowed to be broadcasting live from the red carpet.

The star studded Oscars ceremony will be televised live (AEDT) on Seven from 12.00pm, with a primetime encore that night at 7.30pm on 7flix.

Oscars nominations were announced overnight with Joker leading the pack with 11 nods. Following closely behind were The Irishman, 1917 and Once Upon A Time…In Hollywood with 10 nominations apiece.

Australia’s Margot Robbie was nominated in the category of Best Actress in a Supporting Role for her performance in Bombshell, her second Oscar nomination.

The 2020 Oscars will be held at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood.
