Screen NSW & ABC announce first slate of ‘360 Vision’ VR productions

Following June’s 360 Vision VR lab held earlier this year in June, six VR projects have been announced by Screen NSW and the ABC.

Sydney-based VR artist Lynette Wallworth will mentor all six projects through this early stage of development.

Due to the success of the 360 Vision lab, a second lab will be held in 2017, expanding to two days of masterclasses, demonstrations, presentations and workshops with high profile international and Australian VR practitioners. Again, the lab will be held at the Carriageworks, taking place on the 29 and 30 March.

Aussie Cops

The Hold Up

Screen NSW has also announced development funding for three additional VR projects, involving the practitioners behind Redfern Now and Deep Water, Cleverman, Holding The Man and The Sapphires and Avalon Now, broadcaster Yumi Stynes and Indigenous director Darlene Johnson.
