SCA has announced the appointment of Oliver Newton as Executive Head for LiSTNR Commercial.
In his new role, which begins on July 24, Newton will lead the brand’s commercial strategy and drive the digital audio commercial division within the business.
Newton joins Southern Cross Austereo from Amazon, where he was AdTech Sales Director, and he will be reporting to and replacing SCA chief commercial officer, Seb Rennie.

Since its launch in February 2021, LiSTNR has rapidly built its audience and currently has more than 8.6 million monthly listeners. The app provides users with live radio, podcasts, and news on demand. It has over 600 podcast titles, 154 Hit and Triple M radio and DAB+ stations, 29 music stations, and additional news and information. Amongst it’s range of international and local podcast partners are Sirius XM, Wondery, the AFL, NRL, Schwartz Media, DM Podcasts, and the Royal Institution of Australia.
