Ryvalmedia has welcomed new talent hires and senior promotions as the agency continues its impressive growth trajectory along with new client wins.
Joseph Pardillo, Ryvalmedia managing director, announced an expansion of the team with new hires and senior promotions to meet increasing client demand and new business momentum.
Rob Ramirez has been appointed head of SEO, and Julie Gabelich joins as business director and investment specialist.
Ramirez will lead the SEO team and has extensive experience in the eCommerce, education, energy, and property verticals. He joins Ryvalmedia from Reprise, where he was the SEO director, and previously, at Digital Eagles as SEO manager.
Gabelich joins from Dentsu and Carat, where she was client investment director, and prior at Vizeum as senior business manager. She will lead the bet365 and Sleepmaker portfolio (part of The Comfort Group ANZ).
The leadership team changes deliver depth and breadth of senior talent, capability, and experience across the agency’s client portfolio.
Current Melbourne general manager Marcus Betschel has been promoted to a national role as general manager – operations & growth. Betschel’s remit ensures best-in-class and consistent business operations across all three eastern board offices working alongside the state leaders.
Other senior promotions include Isabella Jackson to head of client & talent, Trent Light to head of strategy, and Ed Field to head of digital & performance media as part of accelerating digital and performance-led solutions for client partners.
New business wins for the agency in the past quarter equate to $50M in billings. This includes the full bet365 remit, SleepmakerME and Kulkote (performance media in addition to current scope), Mahindra, Next Smile, ergoPouch, Manniax, Cardiotech, and new live entertainment/event projects as part of its strategic partnership with Anthem, with more new business wins to be announced imminently.
Pardillo said: “As much as we are chuffed with the trajectory of the business, fuelled by the opportunity of working alongside some amazing brands that continually push us to new heights, it’s the position of being able to recognize the unwavering efforts of our people that is most rewarding. They are the ones that make Ryvalmedia tick and the main source of our successes with our clients to date.
“To continue to attract incredible brains and passionate people such as Rob and Julie are a testament to our home away from home that the team has built. It’s also a joy to share the responsibilities with Marcus, Trent, and Ed in their respective new roles as they champion our critical centres of excellence across the business.
“Of note is Isabella’s expanded remit towards focusing on our talent. Isabella has a proven track record of leading senior stakeholder relationships and delivering business growth for clients. I am excited to see how her obsession in delivering unrivalled output transcends across building on our culture, which we all know starts and stops with the people,” Pardillo added.
