Ryvalmedia Sydney general manager Bianca Falloon has appointed two new senior hires under her leadership as part of RyanCap’s growth agenda and commitment to investment into Australia’s largest advertising market.
Cameron Roberts joins the independent media and communications agency as head of strategy, and Matthew Cuda joins as group business director. Both appointments are effective immediately.
Ryvalmedia has grown considerably since its launch three years ago, accompanied by organic pitching results and M&A. The growth of Ryvalmedia Sydney sits tightly within the management plan to achieve a strong product point of difference to compete and win, and building a high-quality team is a critical part of achieving this success.
Roberts is a high-performing talent in the industry, representing Australia and taking bronze in the Cannes Young Lions competition in 2019. He comes to Ryvalmedia from UM, where he was strategy director; before that, he worked at Mediacom and Bohemia Group.
Roberts has extensive experience working across several verticals, including Liquor, Telecommunications, NFP, Retail, and e-Commerce. He will lead and shape the agency’s strategic offering in Sydney to drive tangible business results for client partners.
Cuda joins Ryvalmedia from EssenceMediacom, where he was the digital director; before that, he was at Bohemia Group. He has worked on client verticals, including Entertainment, Education, Liquor, Retail, and B2B. Matthew will focus on leading the day-to-day team and senior client relationships, ensuring the delivery of best-in-class client service and products.
Falloon said: “At Ryvalmedia, we believe in the power of alignment at the strategic level for our clients across media, data, and technology. Product and leading strategic thinking are our points of difference as a group, and our people are integral to delivering this to our client partners.
“Cameron and Matthew’s appointments will allow us to bring all the pieces together. Their experience, dedication to the craft, and hunger to succeed make them valuable additions to our growing team. I’m very excited to work alongside them as we scale Sydney.”
Roberts said of joining the independent media and communications agency: “I couldn’t be more excited to contribute to what is already a powerful strategic product at Ryvalmedia. The work they have produced over the last few years is some of the best I’ve seen and sets clients up for success as they navigate the new economy”.
Cuda added of his appointment: “I am thrilled to join Ryvalmedia and to have the opportunity to work alongside Bianca and the team to service the fantastic client suite the Sydney business has. There’s great energy at Ryvalmedia, and you can see the vision come to life in building brands for the new economy. The agency’s growth and the work being produced reflect this. I am excited to support our clients in succeeding as the advertising market evolves.”
