NOVA Entertainment has confirmed that Australian pop icon and Nova talent Ricki-Lee Coulter will headline the opening show of Nova’s Red Room Global Tour Powered by Expedia, igniting the highly anticipated return of the network’s flagship experiential music series.
The exclusive Sydney performance, taking place Monday, 28 April, at the picturesque Piper Rooms at Ovolo Woolloomooloo, will kick off a globe-trotting musical journey across three countries and four cities: Sydney, Auckland, Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
The ultimate brand-meets-music experience
With only 350 invited guests in attendance, Ricki-Lee’s intimate hometown performance sets the tone for a campaign designed to create meaningful, memorable touchpoints between music lovers and some of the world’s biggest stars.
“I’m so excited to be performing the very first show of the global tour, alongside such an EPIC lineup, it’s an absolute honour!” the singer said.
“Ricki-Lee is such a powerhouse talent, and we can’t wait to work with NOVA to bring this kick-off event to life at none other than Ovolo Woolloomooloo,” said Darren Karshagen, senior director at Expedia Group.
“Not only is it one of Sydney’s hottest hotels, but it’s also an Expedia VIP Access property, loved by guests, and the perfect venue to kick off the global tour.”
Following Ricki-Lee’s Sydney opener, 12 Nova listeners will join Ricki-Lee and her Nova Drive show co-hosts Tim Blackwell and Joel Creasey as they jet across the globe, hitting key music and entertainment markets along the way.
Auckland, just across the ditch, will be the first stop. There GRAMMY®-nominated singer-songwriter Gracie Abrams will grace the stage at Spark Arena.
Then, the Aussie flavour continues in Anaheim, with an exclusive performance by homegrown talent Dean Lewis at the legendary House of Blues.
The tour will come to an end in Las Vegas, where the winners will attend Post Malone’s Big Ass Stadium Tour at Allegiant Stadium, with support from Jelly Roll.
Music-first storytelling
Brendan Taylor, NOVA Network’s group programming director, said Ricki-Lee was the perfect choice to set the tone for this ambitious multi-market campaign.
“We’re thrilled to have Ricki-Lee launch the Nova’s Red Room Global Tour with this special performance, paving the way for an unforgettable series of music events.
“Nothing could be more fitting to kick off the tour than seeing Ricki-Lee light up the stage the night before she joins the Ricki-Lee, Tim & Joel team and our lucky winners on the trip of a lifetime,” Taylor said.

The tour is supported by agency partners Publicis Sport & Entertainment Australia, Spark Foundry Australia, and White Noise Agency.
