Simon Wheeler joins Yahoo7

Yahoo7 has announced the appointment of Simon Wheeler (pictured) as Head of Editorial, Australia and New Zealand. He will oversee editorial across all parts of the business, providing strategic direction for content including news, lifestyle, entertainment, travel, finance and sport.

Wheeler will be tasked with managing a team of editorial heads and managers across the territories. He will also be responsible for ensuring alignment with joint venture partners, including Seven West Media, and maximising the use of content and alignment of brands across all platforms including video, editorial, apps and websites.

Wheeler joins Yahoo7 with almost 20 years' editorial experience covering news, entertainment and sport stories, both as a writer and an editor. Most recently he was Assistant Editor for the MailOnline.
