Publicis Groupe execs take the plunge for Daffodil Day
Publicis Groupe executives have taken an icy plunge to support Cancer Council as Daffodil Day marks 40 years in Australia.

Publicis Groupe Australia executives have taken part in Cancer Council’s Daffodil Day Ice Dip as part of the company’s support for the Working With Cancer initiative.
The activation was held last Thursday as Daffodil Day marks its 40th year in Australia, with Cancer Council aiming to raise more than $5.5 million nationally in 2026 to fund cancer research.
Four decades of Daffodil Day
Daffodil Day began in Australia in 1986, when the five-year cancer survival rate was approximately 46%.
That figure has since risen to 72%, and funds raised through Daffodil Day contribute to Cancer Council’s research, prevention, and support programs.
Publicis Groupe’s involvement comes through its national strategic partnership with Cancer Council for Working With Cancer, an initiative focused on improving workplace support for employees affected by cancer.
Cancer in the workplace
More than 40% of new cancer cases occur among Australians of working age, between 20 and 64, putting workplace policies and support systems at the centre of the initiative.

Organisations signing the Working With Cancer pledge commit to improving support for employees affected by cancer, including through workplace policies, cultural change and greater awareness of the assistance available to staff.
The initiative also aims to reduce stigma surrounding cancer in the workplace and encourage employers to establish clearer plans for supporting employees through diagnosis, treatment and recovery.
More than 5,000 companies have now taken the Working With Cancer pledge, with the initiative covering around 40 million employees globally.
Publicis Groupe executives took part in the Daffodil Day Ice Dip to raise funds for Cancer Council and draw attention to the workplace initiative.
