Pilot Showcase premieres on 10 Play with six new shows

• The shows include Courtney’s Closet, Dinner Guest, The Love Experiment, The Bush Blonde Vs The World, Time To Die and Abbie Chats

Pilot Showcase, a selection of six domestically produced pilot episodes has dropped exclusively on 10 Play.

Originally broadcast on Network 10’s Pilot Week, this year saw the shows premiere on 10 Play – all dropping on the same day. 

Pilot Showcase aims to bring new shows to the Australian audience. From sketch comedy, celebrity drag reveals and a few insights into the adult film industry, the showcase appeals to a wide audience. The six shows are free to stream.

Previously, the week has brought viewers shows like Taboo, Trial by Kyle, Kinne Tonight, Drunk History, Roxy Jacenko’s I Am Roxy, Part Time Private Eyes, Sydney’s Crazy Rich Asians, and My 80 Year Old Flatmate.

Courtney’s Closet

Dinner Guest

Join Narelda Jacobs, Melissa Leong, Susan Carland and their guests in a no-holds-barred discussion about the biggest topics of today. Presented around a dinner table, this unconventional panel interview show highlights the value of sharing lived experiences and applying compassion in the face of diverse perspectives and voices.

 

The Love Experiment

Can 36 questions make you fall in love with a total stranger? In The Love Experiment watch as all couples fidget, squirm and struggle to answer questions that probe deeper and deeper, climaxing with an intense 3-minute silent stare into each others’ eyes.

 

The Bush Blonde Vs The World

A sketch comedy show featuring Nikki Osborne in her original viral character “Bush Barbie”. With ludicrous moments of sheer insanity from the rich comedic traditions of Russell Coight and Borat, this program promises to be a wild, over-the-top send up of Australian culture at its funniest.

Time To Die

Hosted by comedians Gen Fricker and Ben Russell, Each week, two comedians write three minutes of the worst stand-comedy they can dream up. They then swap scripts, and perform each other’s terrible jokes at real comedy clubs.
