Perth Radio Ratings 2026 Survey 4: NOVA93.7 extends big lead as breakfast surges past 36% share

Nova 93.7 strengthened its market lead, while 96FM posted gains and ABC Perth recorded the survey’s largest fall.

Biggest Movers: 
UP: Nova 93.7 +1.8 
DOWN: ABC Per -1 

NOVA93.7 remains Perth's dominant #1 station… and then some. It's up 1.8 points to 16.7% overall, driven by a huge breakfast surge that's taken its top-rating show to 36.9% share, up a massive 8.4 points. 

GOLD96FM was the other big mover, up 1.1 to 13.1%, while ABC Perth had the roughest survey in the market. 

NOVA93.7 led all gainers, up 1.8 to 16.7%. GOLD96FM added 1.1 to 13.1%, and 92.9 Triple M nudged up 0.3 to 8.6%. 

ABC Perth was the biggest faller, down 1.0 to 6.1% - its cume also collapsed, down 59,000 to 167,000, a genuine and significant audience loss. 

MIX94.5 dropped 0.7 to 12.9%, and 6iX fell 0.3 to 3.5%.

Breakfast 

NOVA93.7's breakfast was the standout story of the whole survey, up 8.4 points to 36.9% - an extraordinary result that further cements its market lead. 

GOLD96FM's breakfast rose from 1.8% to 8.8%, and 6iX's breakfast jumped from 2.2% to 5.0%. 

ABC Perth's breakfast collapsed, down 3.0 points to just 0.4%, and 6JJJ's breakfast fell 2.1 to 3.8%. 92.9 Triple M's breakfast was also down, 0.9 to 11.4%.
