Nova ended the year on top in Perth, but then slipped slightly to #2 in survey one. It’s made up lost ground in survey two, however, with a jump of 0.7 points bringing Nova to 13.9%, returning them to the top spot.
Nova continues to own the breakfast slot in Perth, with Nathan, Nat and Shaun once again #1 after a jump of 2.2 points brought them to the highest overall share of 16.6% – a record high for the show.
Nova’s national drive program of Kate, Tim and Joel has come in at equal first in the timeslot after a drop of 1.3%, tying with Mix 94.5 on 14.0%.
Across demographics, Nova has the #1 share in the 10-17, 18-24, and 25-39 demographics. Nova and 96FM continue to battle it out for control of the weekends, with Nova pulling ahead this survey to claim #1 at 13.7%.

ARN’s 96FM started 2022 as the #1 overall station in Perth, and have just been pipped at the post in survey two. A rise of 0.2 points saw them come in with a 13.8% share, just 0.1 points behind Nova.
Racking up their first year together on air, The Bunch with Dean Clairs and Lisa Shaw saw a jump of 0.6 points for a share of 12.0% – besting their previous highest share of 11.7%, and landing them at #2 breakfast overall.
96FM dominates throughout the day, as the #1 station overall in both the morning and afternoon time slots.

Hit Network’s Mix 94.5 has stayed pretty steady in the new year, up 0.2 points to match its 0.2 point rise in survey one.
Coming second to Nova’s breakfast team in every survey in 2021, Mix 94.5’s breakfast lineup of Pete, Matt and Kymba hasn’t managed to break the curse just yet. A rise of 0.3 points has brought the show to an 11.5% share, but with 96FM claiming #2 breakfast in survey one, Mix 94.5 has remained at #3 breakfast overall.
The national drive show of Carrie Bickmore and Tommy Little has tied in first place with Nova, with a drop of 0.3 points bringing them to a share of 14.0%.

A drop of 0.9 points saw the Nine Radio station for a total share of 6.9% – the station’s lowest share since survey one 2020.
Breakfast with Gareth Parker and Mornings with Liam Bartlett have dropped by 1.5 points and 1.2 points respectively.
The drive show hosted by Oliver Peterson has fallen 0.2 points for a share of 5.9%.
6PR has claimed the #1 commercial station for the 65+ demographic, with a share of 11.0%.

Triple M has been struggling to find its footing in Perth, but a boost of 0.5 points has brought the station to a share of 6.4% and #5 commercial station in the city.
The breakfast team of Basil and Xav (this is the second survey since Jenna Clarke left the show) led by Perth Lord Mayor Basil Zempilas has dropped 0.1 points, bringing in a share of 5.9%.
The station’s strongest demo remains 18-24 where it has a 10.7%.

6IX’s share has dropped for the first time since survey seven of 2021. The station has dropped 1.0 points, bringing it to a share of 5.0%. The Breakfast show with Ian Blackley was down 0.9 points for a share of 4.4%.
The station did best in the 65+ demo with a 10.7% share.
