PEDESTRIAN.TV and Maltesers have selected the winning couple in their nationwide search for one Australian duo worthy of a fully planned and funded dream wedding, marking the next chapter in a campaign designed to celebrate compromise, connection, and the launch of Maltesers’ newest product innovation, Maltesers Duos.

The partnership, which offered one engaged couple a wedding package valued at up to $60,000, attracted entries from couples across Australia eager to share their love stories, wedding decision dilemmas and explain why they deserved help bringing their perfect day to life.

Created to support the launch of Maltesers Duos, the campaign tapped into a familiar wedding-planning truth: when two people come together, so do two sets of tastes, traditions and visions for the future.

After reviewing submissions from couples across the country, PEDESTRIAN.TV and Maltesers selected Bianca and James as the winning pair.

The couple will receive a wedding planned and paid for by the brands, and PEDESTRIAN.TV's production team will document their journey.TV’s production team.

Celebrating the power of compromise

The campaign was built around the idea that couples shouldn’t have to choose between competing wedding visions; they can have both.

From venue styling and fashion to catering and entertainment, Bianca and James will work alongside the PEDESTRIAN.TV team to create a celebration that reflects both personalities and brings their ideas together.

The prize includes support for key wedding expenses, including clothing, food, hair and makeup, flowers, and venue costs, helping to ease some of the financial pressure of planning a wedding.

Mars Snacking ANZ Bitesize Portfolio Director Ana Laskova said the launch of Maltesers Duos provided an opportunity to take the product’s premise into one of the biggest joint decisions a couple can make.

“The launch of Maltesers Duos was the perfect opportunity to explore the ultimate joint decision: a wedding. PEDESTRIAN.TV has been instrumental in bringing this ambitious idea to life with us – they know their audience so inherently and we’ve been delighted by the creativity and heart shown in the entries to the competition. We congratulate our winning couple and can't wait to share their journey of how they achieved their dream wedding, with a little help from Maltesers Duos.”

Zenith Australia Group Planning Director Jasmin Christie, part of Publicis Groupe OneMars, said the campaign centred on the idea that couples don't have to choose between two competing options.

“This campaign was built on a simple truth: the best relationships aren't about choosing one way over another, but about having the best of both worlds. Through this partnership with PEDESTRIAN.TV, we've created a campaign that brings the spirit of Maltesers Duos to life in an authentic and engaging way, turning one of life’s biggest decision-making moments, a wedding, into a celebration of not having to choose.”

A campaign built for modern couples

The initiative also forms part of a broader content partnership between PEDESTRIAN.TV and Maltesers, blending brand storytelling with audience participation and creator-led production.

As the winning couple prepares for their big day, audiences can follow the planning process through a dedicated content series capturing the highs, challenges and compromises of creating a wedding designed by two people.

PEDESTRIAN.TV Senior Creative Project Manager Madison O’Nions said bringing the campaign to life had required a collaborative effort across the business.

“Bringing this campaign to life has been an absolute blast. It took a massive effort across our strategy, creative, partnerships, and production teams to make something that feels culturally relevant and genuinely hits with our audience. Partnering with Maltesers to throw one lucky couple the ultimate wedding is a total dream, and we’re only just getting started!”

Content-led partnership enters its next phase

With Bianca and James now selected, the campaign moves into production, with audiences set to get a front-row seat to the wedding planning journey.

The content series will document how two different personalities, preferences, and priorities come together to create a celebration that reflects the spirit of Maltesers Duos: sometimes the best answer isn’t choosing one thing or another, but having both.

The wedding is scheduled to take place later this year, with content rolling out across PEDESTRIAN.TV’s platforms in the lead-up to the big day.
