Omnicom’s The Loom bolsters growth push with senior hires
Dean Isreb and Annabel Acton join The Loom as customer growth partners, expanding Omnicom Oceania’s advisory leadership.

Omnicom Oceania’s customer growth and brand innovation advisory, The Loom, has expanded its leadership team with the appointment of Dean Isreb and Annabel Acton as customer growth partners.
The appointments come as The Loom looks to meet growing demand from organisations seeking to connect brand, customer and business strategy. The advisory sits within Omnicom Oceania’s broader ecosystem spanning growth strategy, transformation, reputation, intelligence and customer experience.
Consulting and venture experience joins The Loom
Isreb joins after holding senior roles at Monitor Deloitte, Strategy&, PwC and Macquarie. His experience spans enterprise strategy, customer growth and transformation.
Acton was previously with Deloitte Digital and has worked across enterprise brand and customer growth strategy, venture capital and startup leadership. Her background also includes What If! Innovation, eatbigfish, Kin Group and AfterWork Ventures.
Nick Garrett, CEO of Omnicom Oceania, said brand strategy had become increasingly tied to broader business decisions.

“Brand strategy is inextricably linked to business strategy and has become one of the most powerful drivers of enterprise value. The organisations creating sustainable growth are using brand to shape decisions across customer experience, innovation, culture and transformation.
“The growth of The Loom, and the appointments of Dean and Annabel, reflect the increasing demand for this integrated approach to growth.”
A more connected approach to growth
Isreb and Acton will work with organisations across brand ambition, customer experience, operating models and commercial performance. Their remit is focused on identifying growth opportunities and connecting strategy across different parts of a business.
Ahmad Salim, CEO of The Loom, said clients were increasingly looking beyond separate brand and customer strategies.
“Organisations are looking for a more connected approach to growth, one that brings together brand, customer and business strategy rather than treating them as separate conversations.
“Dean and Annabel strengthen our ability to help leaders define where future growth will come from and ensure that ambition is reflected across the organisation.”
Isreb and Acton said the opportunity for businesses was to use brand as a wider strategic tool rather than solely as a way to influence perception.
“Many organisations understand the role brand plays in shaping perception. The more interesting challenge is ensuring brand informs decisions across the enterprise.
“When brand becomes a strategic tool for guiding customer experience, investment priorities, innovation and organisational focus, it becomes a catalyst for growth.”
