Nine.com.au has announced the appointment of Shauna Anderson as managing editor.
In the role, she will work across the website and its suite of verticals, including news, sport, lifestyle, and entertainment.
Anderson will be responsible for the editorial and commercial output of the key verticals, stakeholder management and content strategy, as well as for the lifestyle and entertainment editorial teams.
Anderson will begin in the role in July. She was previously the network editor of 9Honey.
Anderson took to LinkedIn to share her news. She wrote: “I am excited to share that after five years as the editor of 9Honey I will soon be taking up a new and exciting role as managing editor of Nine.com.au.
“Thrilled to be working across the wider team and even more closely with Kerri Elstub and Marc Dodd. Looking forward to the opportunity for increased growth at Nine,” she added.
In November 9honey celebrated its sixth birthday with the launch of a new site, new columnists and an expanded editorial team.
The new vertical, 9honey living, will offer expert advice, tips and hacks to make a house a home.
Anderson, who was editor of 9Honey at the time, said: “Our newest site cements 9honey as the most extensive lifestyle site in Australia, catering for all Aussie women with content that is relatable, factual and entertaining.”
