Cricket Australia and kids’ brand Nickelodeon have renewed their partnership to help promote the Big Bash League as one of the “best family entertainment options for this summer”. The new one-year deal will see the rollout of a range of new and exciting at-match activities, digital promotions and more throughout the upcoming Big Bash season. It follows the success of the partnership during 2017-17 season of BBL.
Ben Cox, General Manager and Vice President of Nickelodeon Australia and New Zealand, said: “Cricket fans can get ready for a whole new Nickelodeon experience on-ground at the BBL this summer when family favourites the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles attend games across the country. As a fans-first company, being able to bring Nickelodeon experiences to life is the perfect way for us to continue to connect with kids and families.”
For the second year running, Nickelodeon’s BBL children’s TV show will also make a return with hosts Lee Carseldine (Australian Survivor) and Kristy Best. The 2017-18 season of the BBL and WBBL will begin in less than a month.
