The 2023 NBL Championship Series between the Sydney Kings and New Zealand Breakers kicks off Friday, March 3 at 7:30pm on ESPN, 10 Peach and 10 Play.
The Sydney Kings meet the New Zealand Breakers for the NBL Championship in a potential five-game Trans-Tasman battle.
Every NBL Championship Series game is also live and free on ESPN, via Kayo Freebies.
Sydney is looking to win back-to-back titles for the first time since their 2003-2005 championship three-peat.
After finishing top of the NBL standings after the regular season, the Kings accounted for the Cairns Taipans in the semi-finals to book their place in another NBL decider.
The Breakers have performed a turnaround this season, after finishing at the bottom of the NBL ladder last campaign – and New Zealand are aiming to win their fifth title since 2015.
Master coach Mody Maor has led the Breakers back to the top, and the side bring red-hot form with them.
New Zealand defeated last season’s grand finalists, the Tasmanian JackJumpers, in the semi final series.
Having played away from New Zealand for the past two seasons due to COVID, the Breakers now have an opportunity to fight for the NBL crown on home soil.
NBL MVP Xavier Cooks will be the man that New Zealand will need to stop, as the Sydney Kings target further silverware.
