Mediahub Australia has announced its appointment as media agency of record for AHI Carrier Australia, the company representing Toshiba Air conditioners and heat pumps.
Andrew Livingston, Mediahub APAC executive director, said of the appointment: “It’s a privilege to be working with Toshiba, a genuine innovator in the air-conditioning industry.
“As an agency for challenger brands, we feel we are the perfect partner to help the team maintain the technological advantage in market. We are delighted to be able to partner with Vijay and the team,” he added.
Vijay Dravid, general manager sales and marketing AHI Carrier (Toshiba) Australia & New Zealand said: “We were impressed by the depth of insight provided by the Mediahub team, and their outcome-focussed approach.
“They also understood the brand positioning of Toshiba vis-à-vis other players and what media-mix to be used to help us reach our business goals, which was a winning combination. We’re looking forward to working closely with the Mediahub team during this time of growth and expansion,” he added.
Livingston noted that Mediahub’s ongoing growth and expanded footprint across Asia was due to the appeal of its competitive, full-service media offering across all media disciplines, and its focus on measurable results.
“Outside of our capabilities, our entire team has a deep understanding of challenger brands and their passion to connect meaningfully to consumers, giving the agency a real point of difference in market. We’re looking forward to continuing our growth into 2022,” he concluded.
The AOR appointment continues the company’s run of new business success.
Last week, Mediahub was named as AkzoNobel’s global digital media agency of record (AOR) following a six-month review.
AkzoNobel – a Dutch multinational company, owns brands such as Dulux, Sikkens, Hammerite and Alabastine – ran the review through MediaPath and will continue work with Mediacom for its offline media planning and buying.
