Married at First Sight, is set to return Monday, January 31, at 7.30pm on Channel Nine and 9Now.
In the quest to find the love of their lives, some of Australia’s most attractive and adventurous singles will hand the keys to their heart to relationship experts John Aiken and Mel Schilling, and clinical sexologist Alessandra Rampolla, who together will match them up to determine whether science really can predict true love and long-lasting romance.

These couples will face the most nerve-racking time of their lives, meeting each other for the first time at the altar on their wedding day as they become immersed in a rollercoaster experiment to make their marriage a success.
Living under the same roof, every bride and groom must cope with the intensity of a real-life relationship cycle, baring all for millions of TV viewers as the experiment becomes the pressure cooker of love.

In season nine there is even more romance and drama, when the experiment is rocked by scandal in a Married at First Sight first, leaving the experts gobsmacked and facing a potential walk out by many of the participants.
Also this season, the popular Home Stays week returns, along with Alessandra’s Intimacy week, Confessions week, and the Couples Retreat where all the brides and grooms go away together.
Couples will have the chance to compare the highs and lows of their relationship at the Dinner Parties, and seek guidance from the experts at the weekly Commitment Ceremonies, where secrets are revealed and bombshells dropped. Who will choose to stay? And who will decide to leave?
Last season, on the night of the show’s finale Nine had the largest primary and network shares of the year. The episode was the most watched program of the year at the time – knocking off Meghan and Harry‘s interview with Oprah Winfrey on 10 – with a metro audience of just under 1.4m metro and a national audience of 1.816m.
