Married at First Sight is returning in 2024 for its eleventh season and with it, the beloved MAFS experts are also set to return.
With the new season set to premiere on Monday, January 29 at 7:30 pm on Nine and 9Now, John Aiken, Mel Shilling and Alessandra Rampolla are all returning to give their insight and feedback.
John Aiken
Having worked in giving advice to singles and couples for over 25 years, Aiken is returning this season for another round of feedback for the couples. The relationship expert has also hosted and provided commentary on other TV shows including ABC’s Making Couples Happy and Making Families Happy. He has also appeared as the relationship expert on Nine’s Today show, Today Extra and A Current Affair.
Mel Schilling
Schilling is a prolific dating and relationship expert who works with a variety of clients across all stages of life – from dating to relationships, parenthood, career and divorce.
In December 2023, Schilling took to social media to give fans an update as she battles colon cancer. On December 21, the 51-year-old revealed she had the disease, and followed it up with an Instagram post on December 22, saying that the tumour had already been removed by doctors in the UK.
Alessandra Rampolla
Joining the MAFS cast in 2021, Rampolla is a clinical sexologist hailing from San Juan in Puerto Rico. She brings to MAFS her particular expertise in sexology and contributes to the mix of components that ensures marriages not only work but thrive in the long haul.
The new season is set to have its most diverse cast of brides and grooms to date, with the oldest groom yet making an appearance as well as bringing back a same-sex couple.
