Love Triangle will return for a second season on Stan in 2023.
From Endemol Shine Australia director of content Tara McWilliams (Married At First Sight), Stan’s head of originals Amanda Duthie, and 9Network executive producer John Walsh (Married at First Sight, The Voice), the series challenges a group of singles to relinquish their grasp on what they think their perfect partner should look like, and instead choose someone, sight unseen, based on a deeper connection – with plenty of drama and heartache along the way.
Cailah Scobie, Stan chief content officer, said: “The first season of Love Triangle proved to be a huge hit with audiences and critics alike, with the proven pedigree of Endemol Shine Australia on full display in this brilliant original format. We look forward to introducing audiences to another unforgettable cast of singles in 2023.”
Peter Newman, Endemol Shine Australia chief executive officer, said: “With thanks to our partners at Stan/Nine we are extremely proud and delighted to be commencing production on series two of Love Triangle. We look forward to building on the success of series one and delivering an even more addictive series two!
“Love Triangle seeks to tackle the complexities of modern dating in a radical yet authentic way and we know there will be some exciting surprises in store for our brand new cast of singles. We are also very proud of the international interest in this original Australian format and we look forward to seeing the Love Triangles forming around the globe!”
The Stan Original dating series is produced by Endemol Shine Australia (a Banijay company) in conjunction with the 9Network.
The brand new season of the Stan Original dating series Love Triangle premieres in 2023, only on Stan. All episodes from season 1 are now streaming.
