The agreement makes LiSTNR Flightcast’s largest global network partner. It will give creators one system for distributing and analysing video and audio content across LiSTNR, YouTube, Apple Podcasts and Spotify.
Why LiSTNR is making the move
The deal reflects the growing shift of podcasting beyond audio, as publishers and creators look to reach audiences across video and social platforms.
Flightcast combines hosting, distribution and cross-platform analytics in one dashboard. Its platform also includes AI-powered tools for clip generation, metadata optimisation and data analysis.
LiSTNR has more than 2.8 million signed-in users, while its broader audience network reaches an estimated ten million people each month, according to Triton Streaming Metrics, Triton Podcast Metrics and Edison data for July 2026.

John Kelly, Southern Cross Media Group Managing Director, Audio, said the partnership forms part of LiSTNR’s broader digital strategy.
“Since launching our digital transformation in 2021, LiSTNR has led the market through continuous innovation across content, AdTech, and platform infrastructure. As podcasting expands beyond audio, we are positioning our network to lead the industry's transition into video.

Flightcast lands its biggest network partner
Flightcast was co-founded by Steven Bartlett, host of The Diary of a CEO, and developer and creator-tech entrepreneur Rox Codes.
The partnership is Flightcast’s first expansion of this scale in Australia and brings one of the country’s largest podcast networks onto its technology.
Codes, CEO and Co-Founder of Flightcast, said: “Australia is an incredibly important podcast market, and partnering with SCA marks a major step in Flightcast’s international growth as well as our first expansion of this scale in the region.
“Bringing more than 150 shows onto Flightcast, including the LISTNR network, is a huge vote of confidence in what we’ve built.”
Flightcast supports professional video podcasting through features including 4K video, HLS streaming, large-scale storage and dynamic advertising.
The deal also extends SCA’s investment in podcast technology, alongside its LiSTNR AdTech Hub and Precision+ advertising platform.
