The Night Show with Mitch Churi launched this week live across ARN’s KIIS Sydney and Melbourne radio stations. This new show airs live weeknights from 7-10pm.
Evening FM radio is a new battleground with Abbie Chatfield at Hit and Mitch Churi at KIIS ready to take on the long-running evening #1 Smallzy at Nova.
Hosted by Mitch Churi, The Night Show with Mitch Churi is aimed to be the ultimate after-work party delivering the latest hit music and celebrity guests, as well as a wrap up of all the celeb news of the day.
Churi, formerly the host of KIIS’ late-night show Mitch Til’ Midnight said, “I’ll be honest, I am going to miss being the last person out of the office at midnight each night – and my friendship with the station cleaners.”
The KIIS evening host is better known to hundreds of thousands of listeners though as the Cash Cock on Kyle and Jackie O’s #1 FM Sydney show.
Churi added: “After seven years with KIIS it feels like the perfect time to be launching this new show at 7pm, and to bring the great little community of listeners we built in the late-night slot to primetime! There’ll be some great laughs and big moments on the show this year, I’m really excited for everyone to hear what we have planned!”
After spending 12 months as a junior producer on The Kyle and Jackie O Show in 2016, Churi joined the ARN Sydney Street Team before moving on to be executive producer of The Thinkergirls. He then hosted a Summer Breakfast show at KIIS and was the EP and co-host of Celeb HQ.
His biggest contribution though during his time at ARN has been as the Cash Cock, hosting a cash giveaway segment each weekday morning on the biggest FM breakfast show in Australia’s biggest radio market.
The Night Show with Mitch Churi airs weeknights from 7pm on KIIS 1065 / KIIS 101.1.
