Junkee editor and head of content Jules LeFevre has announced her departure from the publication after six years.
LeFevre took to LinkedIn on Thursday to share her news. She wrote: “In a few weeks, after more than 6 years, I’ll be finishing up at Junkee.
“It’s been a wonderful and wild ride, and I’ve been incredibly lucky to live my absolute dream pretty much every day for the last six years.”
The outgoing editor continued: “Thank you to Darren Levin, Katie Cunningham and Tim Duggan for giving me that first shot way back in the day – and thank you all the wonderful writers, bands, promoters, label folks, photographers, and everyone else I’ve worked with in my time.
“I’ve made some of my absolute best friends at this silly, silly place, it’s just been a blast.
LeFevre conculed: “Junkee’s been such a big part of my life for such a long time, it feels very strange to be leaving. But it’s time for a bit of a rest and a break before getting stuck into the next thing.”
This comes after Junkee Media announced several internal promotions and new hires earlier this year after it was acquired by oOh Media’s RACAT Group in December 2021.
