CommBank CMO Jo Boundy will leave the bank after more than four years in the role.

Monique Macleod, Commonwealth’s group executive, marketing and corporate affairs, thanked Boundy for her impact during her tenure.

"I’d like to thank and recognise Jo Boundy for her contribution to CBA over the past four and a half years.

"Jo has played an important role in evolving how we connect with customers, communities and the broader Australian public.

"During her time with us, CBA has been recognised as Australia’s most valuable brand by Brand Finance and the only Australian brand included in Kantar’s Global Top 100 ranking, and was recently named Australia’s most trusted bank at the 2026 Roy Morgan Most Trusted Brand Awards.

“We wish her well as she embarks on the next step in her career. The marketing team is well placed for the future.”

Boundy will remain with CommBank until November.
