Icon Agency has welcomed two senior appointments in its PR and communications department.
Joining the integrated communications company is David Radestock as director of technology, and Shannon O’Neill takes on the role of digital and social director. Both appointments are effective immediately.
Radestock was previously business director and senior business director at Ogilvy PR. He brings deep knowledge of the tech sector and has worked with major national and international tech companies including Microsoft, Salesforce, Lenovo, Twitter, and Block.
Radestock background complements Icon’s growing roster of tech clients, including Salesforce, Schneider Electric, and Luno.
Prior to joining the agency, O’Neill worked for four years with Middle Eastern communications agency Seven Media in Dubai, including almost a year as social & digital director.
With her deep expertise, O’Neill will spearhead Icon’s expanded social media capabilities.
Fiona Forbes, Icon’s executive director of communications, said: “We’re very excited to welcome David and Shannon to our team. They both bring high-impact experience and skill sets, which we believe will support our entire communications team.
“At Icon, we offer our clients end-to-end communications solutions. Our broad range of services allows us to complete complex projects under one roof, ensuring each and every team member is aligned and working effectively together.”
“David and Shannon’s appointments expand our offering by strengthening our social media capabilities and deepening our expertise in the tech sector, which will translate to more options and even better outcomes for our clients,” Forbes added.
