How To Stay Married returns on Tuesday, 4 May at 8.30pm on 10 and 10 Play on demand.
In the upcoming third season, Emily Butler (Lisa McCune) was hoping her book “My Sh*t Husband” would be a big success. What she wasn’t hoping for, was for Greg (Peter Helliar) to turn it into an empire.
This season asks whether it caused more trouble than it’s worth? Did Reese Witherspoon ever call? And just what is cricket legend Adam Gilchrist doing here?
When Greg shows off his newfound celebrity status at school, he meets perfect parent and President of the Parents and Friends Committee, Luna Keys (Casey Donovan). Becoming overly involved in primary school politics, Greg’s rivalry with Luna sees her beating him at every turn.
Channel 10 has also released a sneak preview of the upcoming season. Watch below.
Filming wrapped in Melbourne in March this year with Peter Helliar also directing some the season three episodes.
Peter Helliar said at the time that “It has been super exciting to be shooting a third season of How To Stay Married and with the way last year panned out, we were jumping out of our skin to see our Aussie cast and crew back doing what they do best. Our wonderful characters return with some new ones played by some much-loved Australians.”
The third season of How To Stay Married was announced on Twitter in October 2020, with star and creator of the series Peter Helliar writing:
“Stoked to announce HOW TO STAY MARRIED will return for a third season in 2021 @Channel10AU. Beyond thrilled. Proud of the show and pumped to get our cast & crew back to work!!”
