The March rankings on Triton Digital’s Podcast Ranker have been released, and see LiSTNR’s Hamish and Andy reclaim the top position, lifting seven places.
Cementing their place on top, Hamish and Andy finished the month with 954,669 monthly listeners, and 2,066,766 monthly downloads.
Rounding out the top three are Casefile True Crime, staying steady ad #2, and last month’s #1, The Kyle and Jackie O Show podcast, dropping two places to come in third.
The February Podcast Ranker saw celebrity and pop culture podcast Shameless and independent news title Squiz Today both debuting in the top 10 of the Ranker. This month, Shameless is down one spot to fifth, while Squiz Today just drops out of the top 10, coming at 11th.
The highest new entry to the March ranker was Bloke In A Bar, from BIAB Media. The podcast covers all things footy – from interviews with NRL players to analysts from former NRL player Denan Kemp. Bloke In A Bar made its debut at #10.
The two biggest lifters of the March Podcast Ranker were both catch up podcasts of radio shows. Jumping 55 places to #50 is SEN’s Whateley, whilst Nova’s The Chrissie Swan Show rose 41 places to #35.
The top publisher of the month was ARN / iHeartMedia with 5,198,733 monthly listeners and 24,424,578 monthly downloads. LiSTNR and SiriusXM Podcast Network came in second and third, both represented by SCA.
LiSTNR came in as top sales representatives, taking the title from ARN who are second this month. Nova and News Corp followed, with newcomer Mammamia rounding out the top five.
