GQ Men of the Year will return for the first time since 2019, with luxury fashion brand BOSS as presenting partner.
The 2022 GQ Men of the Year Awards in association with BOSS will be presented on November 23, recognising and celebrating extraordinary people who have achieved success and continually raise the bar in their chosen field.
To mark the premier event, a special GQ Men of the Year collector’s edition will be produced as a gloss large format magazine and distributed in The Australian, Australia’s leading national news brand, on November 25.
Edwina McCann, News Prestige Network publisher and editorial director of GQ Australia, Vogue Australia and Vogue Living, said: “For more than two decades, GQ Australia has built a reputation for recognising great talent, whether celebrating established icons or discovering the stars of tomorrow.
“That’s what GQ Men of the Year is all about, honouring those who are defining the moment and shaping the future, across the arts, entertainment, technology, music, fashion, design and more.
“We are delighted to welcome BOSS as our presenting partner this year. Together, we are looking forward to celebrating the best Australian and international stars, and taking GQ Men of the Year Awards to even more prestigious heights.”
GQ Australia editor-in-chief Jake Millar said he couldn’t be more excited that the GQ Men of the Year Awards are returning in November.
“There has been plenty of uncertainty since we last held the event in 2019, but one thing I’m sure of is that this year’s ceremony will be worth the wait,” Millar said.
“In association with BOSS, we will not only be holding our star-studded evening at Crown Sydney, but will also be returning to print, with a special GQ Men of the Year issue, distributed nationally through The Australian newspaper. Together with a website refresh and other exciting plans on the cards, the future for GQ Australia not only looks bright – but better than ever.”
GQ Men of the Year 2022 will see the awards handed out at Crown Sydney, a new location for the black tie event, where staging of the red carpet arrivals, awards ceremony and after party will be executed on a grand scale.
Along with Crown Sydney, supporting partners for the event include, Belvedere Vodka, Hugo Boss Fragrance and Jaguar.
