Foxtel Media and Luxury Escapes have announced an exclusive content series that will feature the world’s finest travel destinations and accommodations.
Luxury Escapes on Foxtel will include 12 x 30-minute episodes featuring a variety of well-known Australian celebrities in five-star locations around the world, from Tuscany, Greece and South Africa to Fiji, Dubai and the Maldives.
Presenters include Australian icons such as Wendy Moore, Cameron Daddo, Rebecca Gibney, Natalie Bassingthwaighte, Matthew Le Nevez, Ben Lawson, Heather Mitchell and many other well known stars.
“This is the first time Foxtel Media and LifeStyle have done a partnership of this scale – it’s a true example of brand-funded content at its best. We’ve got an amazing line-up of top Australian celebrities who’ll be visiting some of the world’s most desirable and luxe holiday destinations. It’s the perfect timing, with Australians eager to travel overseas again and looking for the most exciting and luxurious destinations,” said Laura Elliman, head of entertainment partnerships at Foxtel Media.
In a recent survey of 4,000 Luxury Escapes customers, nine out of ten Australians plan to travel either domestically or internationally in 2023. 58% of respondents say cost-of-living pressures haven’t impacted their travel plans, with travel sitting on top of the discretionary spend list for 2023.
“We’re thrilled to be collaborating with Foxtel Media for the new season of Luxury Escapes: The World’s Best Holidays. Their focus on premium content, combined with their ability to broadcast and amplify the show across multiple channels makes them the ideal producing partner. It’s a very exciting time for both Luxury Escapes and the entire travel industry and we look forward to engaging with huge new audiences once back on air,” said Adam Schwab, co-founder and CEO of Luxury Escapes.
The series will be produced by I8 Studios and will air on Foxtel LifeStyle on Tuesdays at 8.30 pm from 29th August, with an extra 10 encores across LifeStyle and LifeStyle Food each week. The show will also be available to stream on BINGE and Foxtel GO.
