Foxtel’s most-anticipated new channel for some time launched last night with a bumper 90-minute edition of Monday Night with Matty Johns at 8.30pm AEDT from Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane.
The program was the launch of the live programming on the new Fox League channel, part of the Fox Sports stable with a home at channel 502 on the Foxtel platform.
Matty Johns was joined by his regular sidekicks in Gorden Tallis, Bryan Fletcher, Nathan Hindmarsh and Lara Pitt for the first live show on the new channel.
Fox League features nine entertainment shows, plus six brand new programs, and every NRL game, every round live, ad-break free during play and in HD.
Ahead of the opening round this weekend, the full Fox League lineup of entertainment show will continue with NRL 360 hosted by Paul Kent and Ben Ikin, returning tonight at 6.30pm, followed by On the Couch with Sterlo, with an exclusive interview with brothers, Tom and Jake Trbojevic.

Then a repeat of the 2016 NRL Grand Final between the Melbourne Storm and the Cronulla Sharks at 10pm was top 20 with 35,000.
