In what promises to be its most glittering season yet, Dancing with the Stars is back on Seven and 7plus – and the race for the coveted Mirrorball Trophy has never been fiercer.
Twelve well-known Aussies are set to trade their day jobs for dance shoes as they cha-cha, quickstep, and samba their way into the spotlight. From Olympians to TV legends, the 2025 cast is a who’s who of fame, flair, and fabulous footwork.
This season’s lineup brings together an eclectic and exciting mix of talent, with TV WEEK Gold Logie winner Rebecca Gibney, beloved comic Shaun Micallef, and Olympic gold medallist Susie O’Neill all vying for the crown. Add in the ever-charismatic Osher Günsberg, and you’ve got a recipe for serious sparkle.
They’ll be joined by Harry Garside, the Olympic boxer known for his grit both in and out of the ring, and Home and Away heartthrob Kyle Shilling, bringing dramatic flair to the ballroom. Brittany Hockley, a familiar voice from radio and podcasting, and comedian Felicity Ward round out a line-up brimming with personality.
In a sweet twist of TV fate, fashion influencer Mia Fevola will take to the floor years after both her parents appeared on the show. Former Richmond Tigers captain Trent Cotchin adds some AFL muscle, while seasoned news presenters Michael Usher and Karina Carvalho will swap the newsroom for the rumba.
As always, the celebs will be dancing not just for glory, but for a cause close to their hearts, with each star competing on behalf of their chosen charity.
Returning to the ballroom are hosts Sonia Kruger and Dr Chris Brown, ready to steer the stars through their high-stakes routines. Meanwhile, judges Craig Revel Horwood, Sharna Burgess, Helen Richey, and Mark Wilson will be bringing the sparkle and scrutiny in equal measure.
With drama, sequins and a whole lot of heart, Dancing with the Stars 2025 promises to be a show-stopping season. Will a sporting champ outshine a seasoned performer? Could an underdog pull off the ultimate twist and steal the trophy?
One thing’s for sure: the dancefloor has never been more competitive.
