Farmer Wants A Wife farmers Zac and Jason have chosen the women they hope to build futures with, following two emotional final decisions.

Adelaide apple orchardist Zac selected Melbourne medical receptionist Maya, while Queensland dairy farmer Jason asked Poppy to return to his farm.

Zac declares his feelings for Maya

Zac entered his final decision torn between Maya and Mieke after developing strong connections with both women. He said the prospect of Maya leaving earlier in the season had clarified his feelings.

“When you expressed your feelings about potentially leaving and going home, it was in that moment that I truly realised how close I was to losing you,” Zac said.

“You were someone that I absolutely wanted to fight for. You're someone I can wholeheartedly see a future with. I am absolutely falling for you.”

Maya said she felt “over the moon” after Zac’s declaration.

“I'm so happy. I'm definitely falling in love with him. He is the guy I've been looking for,” she said.

Zac then invited Maya to attend his sister’s wedding as his date, which she accepted.

His decision meant farewelling Mieke. Zac acknowledged their chemistry but told her he could not see a future together.

“I'm definitely a little bit heartbroken. I was falling for him, but I won't let it stop me,” Mieke said. “I will find my person one day. It just wasn't today.”

Jason asks Poppy to return to the farm

Jason’s final choice was more certain after he formed a close connection with Poppy throughout the experience.

“You've made me a better person. You've made me a better man,” Jason told her. “Poppy, I am falling for you. Will you come back to the farm with me?”

Poppy accepted the invitation, replying: “Of course I will.”

Jason later said the relationship had the potential to become what he had hoped to find on the program.

“I think I have maybe found a wife,” he said. “There's a lot of potential there.”

Before making his declaration, Jason farewelled Logan and thanked her for being vulnerable during the experience.

“You deserve love. You'll make a fantastic partner, but unfortunately, my heart is with someone else. I'm sorry,” he said.

Logan said she was glad she had met Jason and hoped he found happiness.
