Farmer Will – 26, Broadacre crop and sheep farmer
Will is a fourth-generation farmer. He describes himself as an upbeat and positive person who loves staying fit and healthy.
What sort of woman are you looking for?
Some of the qualities I am looking for in a partner are being positive, respectful, ambitious, caring and true to themselves. I enjoy being with someone who likes having a laugh and being social. A woman who is confident in the person they are, has respect for themselves and has space for someone else in their life.
What values are you looking for in a partner?
Honesty, trustworthiness, authenticity, ambition, humour, kindness, optimism and stability are some key values that I would look for in a partner.
Farmer Paige – 27, Sheep and cattle farmer
Paige knew she wanted to be a farmer at age 15 and set out to make it happen. She’s independent, confident and has a full cup from her career.
What sort of partner are you looking for?
There is no ideal picture in mind. I’m looking for someone I can get along with, have fun with and enjoy each other’s company. Honesty is one of the biggest things for me. I would like to have someone to come with me to the camp drafting and the rodeos, join me on the fence line, or be my professional gate opener, just someone to share life with.
What values are you looking for in a partner?
Honesty, respect, sense of humour and reliability.
Farmer Ben – 27, Dairy farmer
Farmer Ben wears his heart on his sleeve, believes in old-fashioned romance and hopes for a long-lasting partnership like he has seen in his parents and grandparents.
What sort of partner are you looking for?
Someone who can be my life-long best mate and lover, who is resilient to go through the highs and lows of life together and find the positives out of every situation. Someone prepared to give and take, and to squeeze the best out of the life we build together. Someone who doesn’t mind getting dirty but still enjoys frocking up and showing off the beautiful woman that they are.
What values are you looking for in a partner?
Caring, loving, honest, sincere and selfless. I’m looking for a person who is supportive and kind, not afraid to take charge and speak up, but still has a listening ear and a compassionate shoulder.
Farmer Benjamin – 33, Sheep farmer
Benjamin is a self-proclaimed agricultural enthusiast. He has a degree in drama, co-owns a record label, is a DJ, produces music and dabbles in visual arts.
What sort of partner are you looking for?
I am looking for a partner that I am emotionally, intellectually and physically attracted to. I am not looking for a farmhand or labour, but it would be nice if she had an interest in the far, and was willing to be a team-mate around these parts on occasion. Equally so, I want to be able to engage and help her out in her profession or interests. But it’s not a deal breaker.
What values are you looking for in a partner?
She should be independent, funny and creative. Someone who is open and a good communicator. She should be grounded but not rigid. I’m not sure if these are values, but a woman who has dreams and aspirations is something quite alluring.
Farmer Harry – 23, Dairy farmer
Harry has a bachelor’s degree in Agribusiness and is currently pursuing Certificate III in Regenerative Agriculture. He enjoys cooking, with Italian being his favourite style. He believes that preparing a meal and sharing it with someone is a great way to create a strong, lasting bond with someone.
What sort of partner are you looking for?
I’m looking for someone who will be honest, knows how to let their hair down, and have fun while also bringing a positive attitude to their life. I want someone who loves to be active and enjoys quality time with their partner as I’m super keen to travel sometime in the near future. I would love to share the experience with someone special.
What values are you looking for in a partner?
Someone who is thoughtful of others, brings a positive attitude and is fun to be around as I love a gal who can let her hair down and have a laugh. I’m also looking for someone who is open and can have healthy discussions and be willing to compromise when it comes to conflict within a relationship.
The new season of Farmer Wants A Wife premieres Sunday 4 September at 7:00 pm on Channel Seven and 7plus.
