This week the Australia Box Office made a total of $4.7 million, up 55% on last week’s $3.04 million.
Debuting to the top spot this week is Disney’s Jungle Cruise. Following in the footsteps of Pirates of the Caribbean, Jungle Cruise is based on Disneyland's theme park ride where a riverboat takes a group of travelers through a jungle, encountering all sorts of dangerous animals – and other adventures – along the way.
Finally dropping out of the top five after an impressive seven weeks is Fast & Furious 9. So far the film has pulled in a staggering $20.97 million, and will likely stay in the top ten for some time yet.
#1, Jungle Cruise, $1.57 million
The only film to crack the million mark this week, the movie starring Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson and Emily Blunt averaged $4,215 across 372 screens.
#2, Space Jam: A New Legacy, $880,325
The sequel to the1996 original film, Space Jam 2 averaged $2,813 across 313 screens this week. In its third week of release, it has made a total of $10.79 million.

#3, Black Widow, $780,345
Making headlines after Scarlett Johansson sued Disney for streaming the film, this week is week four for the newest addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Black Widow has made a total of $12.46 million, and this week averaged $2,593 over 301 screens.
#4, Old, $500,599
Full of the sorts of twists and turns that M. Night Shyamalan is well known for, Old averaged $2,167 over 231 screens this week. It has made a total of $1.09 million.
#5, Snake Eyes: G.I. Joe Origins, $200,158
Based on the G.I. Joe franchise, the film is an origin story for G.I. Joe, as well as being a reboot of the original film series. In its second week of release, the film averaged $886 across 226 screens. It has made a total of $594,444.
