Enigma has launched a specialist property marketing division, head of Property & Place, and appointed a new executive to lead.
Akira Galvin will step into the newly created role of head of Property & Place, based in Sydney.
Lisa Sutton Gardner, founder and director, of Enigma, said the agency has more than 30 years of property marketing and brand expertise, with a team of over 20 specialists and an enviable client roster, it was time to give Enigma’s property experience a designated home.
“Enigma Property & Place is an exciting proposition to bring to market and is the next step in the evolution of Enigma. Clients are offered a fully integrated full-service property division where media strategy and buying is fused with research and brand, enabling us to continue our mission to build chemistry between people and place.
“I’m equally excited to announce that after an intensive, year-long search we have found the perfect leader in Akira. She is passionate and driven, with experience in all things property, and brand, campaign, digital and media are serviced by a direct team of over 20 property marketers.
“I can’t wait to watch the team spearhead industry innovation in placemaking and branding, offering best in class results for our clients,” Sutton Gardner concluded.
With two decades of experience across strategic communication and branding, Galvin was most recently director, strategy & development at The Property Agency, and prior to that was director, Brand Experience for The Garden Agency.
Galvin has led complex projects to market across a variety of sectors including corporate, commercial and residential, working with blue chip property brands such as Lendlease, Frasers Property and Cbus Property.
Galvin said of joining the full service independent agency: “Enigma has always been on my radar. I’ve been watching the agency’s growth nationally with great interest so when I met Lisa and Justin (Ladmore) I knew it was the start of something very special and truly unique.
“Enigma Property & Place is a specialist offering we’re excited to launch and across the team we have the depth and scale to handle large jobs while remaining agile enough to create bespoke solutions for our boutique clients.
“In today’s market, it’s important to understand every single moment in the buyer journey, as part of the consideration set and ultimately in that final sales conversation. What we have access to in terms of data and insight from our property media specialists and how those insights inform creative and campaign is so seamless and it’s a real competitive edge for our clients.
“I’m excited to work alongside such visionaries in Lisa and Justin and to lead a truly exceptional and diverse team of talented individuals,” Galvin concluded.
Enigma’s Property & Place client roster continues to grow with significant clients wins welcoming developers, architects, agents and hoteliers in Q1 of 2023. They join a roster that already includes iconic brands such as Frasers Property, Third.i, Landcom, Dexus and GPT among others, spread across its Sydney, Newcastle, and Brisbane offices.
