dentsu has announced the appointment of Anthony Bartram as the general manager of investment working across the Carat, iProspect and dentsu X brands.
Bartram brings almost two decades of experience in media to dentsu, and has a proven track record of leading sales teams, most recently as the head of agency partnerships at Australian Radio Network.
Danny Bass, CEO media, dentsu ANZ, said: “Anthony is a strong hire and rounds out our investment capabilities with a focus on working with our media partners.
“With Ben Shepherd now in place and Mel McDonald promoted to chief commercial officer, dentsu is ready to move into the never before and deliver strong results for our clients” he added.
Bartram, general manager of media investment, dentsu ANZ, said: “2023 is shaping up to be a year of equal part challenge and opportunity given well documented macro-economic headwinds, the lingering effects of the pandemic and evolving patterns of media consumption.
“The opportunity to join dentsu as Danny and the team look to create the media agency of tomorrow whilst shaping best-in-class investment solutions for our client base was too good to turn down and I look forward to joining the team at the end of January,” he added.
Bartram will be joining the business from January 23.
Ben Shepherd’s appointment was announced in Novemeber. Shepherd brings almost two decades of experience in digital media to dentsu, most recently as the expert vice president at Bain & Company, leading the FRWD marketing and customer experience practice across Australia and New Zealand.
Shepherd has also worked for the likes of OMD Australia, CHE Proximity and PwC Australia, and his work has been recognised with accolades from the industry and media trade publications.
